Colds are not productive

So, for the last week I've been dealing with a cold. It didn't help that last week happened to be a week of hell. I had all of these projects due and two exams to take. However, on Thursday, the day of my two exams, my cold really hit me. I was really out of it, pain on the side of my head, sore throat, and runny nose. I could barely get through my 8am class. I had to skip my drawing class later in the day because going to a 3 hour class and then an exam in the condition I was in was not good. I needed to save my energy. However, when I got back to my dorm, my friends told me that I should go to the health center and not take the exams. I was too ill to take them. So, after some thinking, I eventually went to the health center. They made me fill out forms while I waited, which it kinda stupid because if I was really really feeling bad (like stomach pains), I don't think that I would be in the condition to be filling out forms. I mean, colds really knock out my mind and send me to la la land. Must be all the sinus buildup or something. Anyways. The people were really nice and I didn't have to wait really long. I got a slip that said I went to the center, but now it's up to me to make sure I can make up the two exams. I am still waiting on my Art History professor, but the chair of the math department got back to me and said that I have to take a "super make up" at the end of the semester. Not really psyched for that, but I guess it will be a nice warm up for my finals. I'm feeling better now and doing some catch up on my school work.

I have spring break in a week, so I'm really excited about that since I get to see my friends again. I haven't seen then in over two months!! College is crazy like that. I am also writing an article about my college experience so far for a teacher from my high school for my magazine that he took over. It's going to be a little different from my original one, but I'm excited about seeing what it will look like. It still needs some editing, but I think it turned out well.

I forgot to upload the picture of the sculpture on here, sorry! My editor said that he wanted to see some other angles first, which is ok for me. I took some new ones today, so maybe he'll like these better. It's hard with my lens because I can't really get that close. I think I'm going to have to lay on my back or something to get the shot that I want. So here they are. And I put in a little skateboarding one in for something extra ^_^.

Here is the old one. I really like the line that is created with the students.

Here is one of the new ones

And another of the new ones

I kinda like this skater one.
