So for my first assignment in my Advanced Photojournalism class I am suppose to photograph a "day in the life" of a particular person. I pulled two choices randomly from a hat and got the owner of a local typewriting store and a worker on a farm down the road a ways. I chose to pursue the local typewriter store owner because it seemed the most interesting and was closest to wear I live.
Turns out this person doesn't like being photographed or interviewed. I tried my best to make her change her mind, but she stuck to her answer like she has every right to. So now I am left without a project at the moment. I would have tried to seek out the farm worker however I barely had enough time between classes to get to one person let alone both.
Tomorrow I will come to class and hopefully pick up an assignment that is not being pursued. Wish me luck that I can get this assignment done by next Wednesday!
