Obama Conference

I got an assignment last night to take some photos of a Obama conference at the Campus center and to take pictures of not only the speakers but also the atmosphere because they were going to put some of the best ones in a slide show. The main speaker (shirt with read tie) that I heard is the foreign policy adviser for Barack Obama for right now. Here are some of the over 200 shots I had to sort through for the Collegian for almost two hours. Enjoy!

Peek-a-boo!

I like this one because even though it doesn't show his face, I like the light hitting on him and his focus on the audience.

The face!

I'm glad some people were able to say alert in the warm room and hear what they had to say.

Money shot! One of my favorites from the night.

Nice concentration picture.

It wasn't all students. People of all ages turned out to hear what the speakers had to say.

The audience had some good questions from atomic bombs, race, and the environment.
