Tip: Make sure you get the name of the group you are reporting/photographing
because going around asking where the "Cult Meeting" is being held
is not the way to go about doing business....
But in the end it turned out that the meeting I was suppose to got to was actually at 10 and I could not photograph the group because they had no prior knowledge that I or the reporter was going to be their and the Hotel has a policy protecting its guests from the press. Which is cool, except it sucks because I had to get up early and then waited around for the reporter to show ( and never did) then went back to school.
After I got back to my dorm, I check some e-mails and news and then took my Barack Obama phone bank photos to the Collegian. As I was dropping off the files, I learned that this was one crazy weekend on campus and that me and my Editor B had to go out and take photos of the locations of one of the incidents. All talk more about it tomorrow when I have more info. Anyways, we got to the location and talked to the people there about what had happened and found the location of the incident.
After dropping off those photos, I went back to the dorm, took a long needed nap. Got food and then watched the Super Bowl. All I really want to say about that subject is that I'm very upset and saddened.
Anyways, that was my day and as you can see, very long and eventful. I have a long day ahead of me tomorrow, so I'm going to finish my work and be on my way.
I hope this finds you all well. Here are the Barack Obama Phone Bank photos:

Both Editors pick as the one to go to print.

Editor M's Second pick

Editor B's second pick. He liked the blown out background.

A third pick to show that there were more than a few people there.

And one of my favorites. I like it because it has her happy, on the phone looking at the caller list, and she is wearing an Obama sticker which puts the story in context.
