It's 1:07 pm and I have an hour to kill before I got take photos of a Barack Obama phone bank. It is suppose to start at 1, but I guess it is going to take people a little longer to get there and set up. So I'm sitting in the library just chilling. I'm a little nervous about the shoot because my photos will be competing with another experienced photographer from the Collegian and my editor B is really looking for me to step up and "get the shots that no one else can get." That is now my mantra I guess. I've been in the room twice so I know that set up and some shots that I want to take. They will be putting up posters around the room and the tables are set up in a circle, so I can get in the middle and take pictures from that vantage point. I'm probably going to be there for a while just to make sure I get the shots that I want to get and work with some "creative" shots. I've been practicing all morning to make sure that I will not over or underexpose the photos, something that I keep doing. I really just need to go through my camera manual and work on my camera. I should have done it earlier, except I know now what it looks like when I do it wrong, so when I do it right, I know the difference.
Anyways.... I'm just going to chill until 10 before 2 and then head back there and finish the assignment. Wish me luck!
